Kongsberg EA/EK Series Single Beam Echo Sounder Systems

The Professional Solution for Versatile Hydrographic Surveying

The Kongsberg EA/EK series is a new generation of high-performance, wide-band single beam echo sounder systems, covering the complete application range from very shallow water to full ocean depth. This series utilizes advanced Wide Band Transceiver (WBT) technology, supports multi-channel synchronous operation and true raw data recording. Renowned for its exceptional measurement accuracy, flexible system configuration, and intuitive operation, it has become a benchmark product in the fields of hydrographic surveying, ocean engineering, and scientific research.

The series includes two main models:

EA440: A high-performance hydrographic echo sounder designed specifically for shallow to intermediate water depths. It integrates echo sounding, side-scan sonar, and sub-bottom profiling functions, and supports both portable and hull-mounted installations.

EK80: A high-precision, wide-band echo sounding system with full ocean depth detection capability. It features a modular design and supports single beam, split beam, and ADCP transducers, making it suitable for deep water and complex hydrographic environments.
