high-precision positioning
The optimal positioning accuracy can reach 10cm+0.5% x slant distance, supporting simultaneous positioning of multiple targets (up to 4)

The MPS series ultra short baseline underwater acoustic positioning system is a high-precision underwater positioning device independently developed by Chinese research institutes, mainly used for tracking and positioning underwater targets on workboats. The system adopts a broadband encoded signal system, combined with a high-precision heading attitude instrument, to achieve high-precision ranging and direction finding of targets, supporting relative and absolute position output, and widely used in fields such as ocean engineering, underwater scientific exploration, national defense and security.
The system consists of a sound array, a responder, a main control unit, and display and control software. It has the characteristics of high integration, high reliability, and easy deployment, meeting the complex operational requirements of deepwater, long-distance, and multi-target positioning.

The optimal positioning accuracy can reach 10cm+0.5% x slant distance, supporting simultaneous positioning of multiple targets (up to 4)
The acoustic array is equipped with a high-precision heading and attitude instrument, which is installed with error correction before leaving the factory, and users are exempt from calibration
Support real-time output of relative position (matrix coordinate system) and absolute position (geodetic coordinate system)
Supports both Cartesian and polar coordinate display and control interfaces
The maximum working depth of the responder is 6000m, suitable for deep-sea operation environment
Clear system structure, easy to install, maintain and integrate

Real time positioning and trajectory tracking for underwater robots, submersibles, underwater targets, and other targets
Provide precise positioning for underwater pipeline laying, cable laying, and underwater construction
Cooperate with multi beam, shallow profiling and other equipment to improve the accuracy of underwater terrain mapping
Used for military tasks such as underwater surveillance, target monitoring, and anti submarine operations
Provide positioning support for underwater search and rescue, black box retrieval, etc
